How we met
Shanna and I were introduced by Steve Swanik when Shanna came to opening night of the X-Men movie.

Funny story
Shanna has come out and played basketball with us several times. Now the funny thing is that despite the fact Shanna isn't very tall, she's a *VERY* physical basketball player. She's come out and put some nasty hits on me, on Skander, on lots of others. She's nice about it, but Shanna's hits HURT!
Why Shanna and I are friends
Shanna was my roommate when she was going out with Chris Mruzik, my other roommate. Over that time, we got to know each other quite well. I've found Shanna to be compassionate, caring, and concerned, with an eye out for doing the right thing as well as being kind in the process. She knows the difference in the time to console and the time to deliver a good swift kick. Since she's willing to do both, that makes her a great friend.
